baking bread

my first yeast bread. i got inspired by mary and decided to give it a try, but only because there was a recipe that promised to be the easiest yeast bread ever: new york times no-knead bread. it takes some planning (you have to let the dough rise for a really long time) but it really is no-knead and little effort if you're hanging around the house anyway. i just tried some and it's delicious. so we'll see if i can make a habit of making my own bread or if this was just a fluke. and btw, mine is by far NOT the first blog on the subject.

seriously...definitely some day-before planning. they had another version of the recipe with more yeast and less rising time (4 hours) but that one seemed more complicated since you had to time out all the steps for the same day.
