reunited with hippies and books

we finally found the only place around that appears to have interesting live music. oh, it's been way too long since i've seen hung out with wierd dudes in tye-dye getting down to the extended breakdown of a jam band. the band we saw was called frame of mind and they were your stereotypical jam band, entertaining though.

i finally sound normal when i talk (i think). hooray!

i've been trying to read more things unrelated to veterinary medicine lately. it's working out pretty well, i've managed to read a couple of pretty good novels recently (well, i'm pretty much impressed by anything at this point because i'm just excited to be casually reading things again). and it's turned out to be a great way to procrastinate. i think i'm going to go do some reading right now...
