narcotic-induced peace

leo's owners came to take him home today, hooray! they were so excited.

so i finally got fed up with the throat thing not getting better and went to the doctor yesterday. he told me that i should rest my voice as much as possible and get a lot of sleep....not really sure how i'm going to do that. oh, and if the problem lasts for about three weeks, then i should come back. very helpful. actually what was helpful was the cough syrup with codeine. now i can at least sleep.

state of the union address last night...same old crap mostly...amusing to see that someone still hasn't learned how to prounounce "nuclear." also female senators in boxy, hot pink blazers...not a good idea.
