quite a few happenings since i last posted. well maybe not so many events per se, but life in general. i'm in the process of updating the ol' flickr page but not done yet.

when i was home for thanksgiving my grandmother told me that i should keep a journal so that i can have a record of all the events/travels/etc of my life and i can look back at it later and remember all that i did. i think this blog is a pretty poor excuse for something like that since i don't make a lot of reference to things like "today i did *blank." but i think she's right, later i will want something to look back on. so i have a couple of options: make this a little more chronology/reporting friendly and print it later, or make a simple nonelectronic log. or the third option of nothing, i guess. i dunno, i forgot where i was going with this...

ok i had to do it one last time. these poor pumpkins may or may not be still in the yard returning to the soil from whence they came. this picture was taken before thanksgiving and there has been a lot of rain since then; however they look pretty much the same. i think we're in a holding pattern.
