this is all that's left of our pumpkins, and there are still two weeks until halloween. also i have no costume ideas yet which may be a problem. think, think!

in other birthday news, we're going on a trip down to san jose for the bridge school benefit. oh hilarious - i just found that wikepedia has some information on it. no pearl jam this year, but eddie vedder at least. we're planning on driving down there (probably splitting the trip up into two days) and camping in part of the redwoods that aren't too far away...weather permitting. we'll see how that works out.

in work news, our internist has this case in the hospital now and someone found a posting on craigslist about the dog asking for anyone to help figure out what's going on with it. apparently the owner's very worried but also doesn't get that there are pending tests out there and geez, there's an internist working on the case! and do they really think that craigslist is a place for good advice about this thing??? so i looked on craigslist and there are actually several of these ridiculous posts. here are a few examples of stupid people: here, here, here. And that's just this week.
