my long hiatus

i guess there are a few updates in order since poor bloggie was neglected for so long.

1. i did find a house and a job, in portland. i start the job on july 28 (or 29th?) and we move there on monday. hooray!

2. internship is done done done done!

3. i've added some photos to flickr of a rafting trip i took and also a trip to glacier national park. that's basically how i've been spending my time while in limbo between jobs. be prepared to see a lot of trees and mountains.

4. we're getting a dog! sage is a corgi and we're picking her up tomorrow. i'll post some pictures. the cats are fine now, but cringer will be very upset by the time this whole moving business is over.

5. next week it's off to chicago for mike and gail's long-awaited wedding. and we'll get to hang out with ashly and justin for the weekend too. yay!

okay, back to the empty, discusting apartment...after the move i'll be better about updating....maybe...
