letdowns of the day

1. i was supposed to have my long-awaited (well, not that long-awaited) job interview today, but i got a call this morning telling me they were going to have to reschedule. argh. let's get on with it already.

2. i had to give my spring seminar this morning (after being here all night, fabulous). everyone has been getting this comment on their evaluations from a certain faculty member about how they need to dress more appropriately. but i didn't get one today, even though i wore practically the same thing as sarah who also had to speak today (she got the comment). maybe my attire was just that bland.

3. the icu is actually busy tonight and i don't think i'll be able to sleep practically the entire night. dang.

4. i had this wicked craving for ice cream earlier and no way to get any.
